Haircuts 09

All the boys got haircuts on Memorial Day. Vance says that anyone who wants a haircut can come over and get one for $5. No complaints. If you pay $10 then you can complain. I need everyone to talk Vance into getting a haircut as well. Although, I think he wants to grow it down to the middle of his back!

Ok, it's been over a month since I've updated this blog. The last entry showed a picture of me knee deep in snow in our front yard. Here's a picture taken just three days later. Ya gotta love Colorado!

That first sunny day I took some pictures. It was so good to be outside without jackets. It finally felt like spring.
Vance went Turkey hunting several times over the last month. Ryan and Glen took turns going and he also got to hunt with Pops. Unfortunately, they were unsuccessful, but Vance was able to capture some beautiful photos of the sunrise.

Another AWANA graduation...Rachie completed her second year in Cubbies. Will did his first year as a Spark. I was so proud of him and all the verses he memorized plus all the books of the Bible. Ryan finished his first book as a TNT and Glen his second. Both memorizing over 100 verses this year.

Ryan took about a thousand pictures of Tristan in this shirt. It's my favorite, "Handsome is an Understatement"!

Breakfast at the Terry's. It looks like their plates coordinate with their shirts - Ha!

Ryan and Vance worked on a project together to finish the AWANA year. I thought it was a pretty cool looking diorama. Ryan was to create a scene that portrayed the prison where Paul and Silas were kept, worshipped and were freed.

We had an awesome and incredibly fun Cinco de Mayo party. Lots of food, chips and salsa, margaritas and Coronas. We danced and sat out by the fire. We had at least 25 kids here and they played late into the night outside on our property. Can't wait to do it again.
Mother's Day, actually the Friday before Mother's Day, Mom and Pops came over and brought ice cream cake!!!! Yum and woo hoo!!! I so needed the chocolate. In this picture I just got back from teaching a spin class and gave the youngest five baths. Morgan and Kael are almost completely potty trained. They'll be three in August. August will be a big month - the twins will be three, Will will be 7 and Tristan will be one year old!
Well, that's all for now. My goal is to update every Saturday morning and if I can do more during the week I will.
Oh, I forgot. Tristan got his first tooth two weeks ago and the second it just about to pop through. He's sitting up and scooching across the floor on his butt. The funny thing is you never see him do it. He'll be sitting in one spot then you look away and when you look back he's moved several feet. I literally have never seen how he gets from one spot to the other, but he's always sitting up so I just assume he's scoochin'. Hilarious.
